How to convert a VCF file to Excel
- Drop your .vcf file above. You can add several at once; they are merged into one list.
- Check the preview: one row per contact, with first and last name, company, job title, every phone and email with its label (mobile, home, work…), addresses, birthday, groups and notes.
- Pick Excel (.xlsx) and click Download. Phone numbers are saved as text, so the + and leading zeros stay intact.
Need to move the contacts to another account? Choose Google Contacts CSV or Outlook CSV: the columns already have the names those services expect when you import.
How to convert Excel contacts to VCF
- Open the Excel → VCF tab and drop your .xlsx, .xls, .ods or .csv file, or paste the cells straight from Excel or Google Sheets.
- Check the columns. Name, First name, Mobile, Phone, Email, Company, Address… are matched automatically, also in Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian and Indonesian. Change any that are wrong.
- Add a country code if your numbers have none (for example +44): it is added to every number.
- Download one .vcf with all contacts, or a ZIP with one .vcf per person.
Several numbers or emails in one cell, separated by commas, semicolons or slashes, become separate entries in the contact.

A .vcf (vCard) is a text file with one block per contact, where each phone, email and address is a separate line with its own labels. Excel reads it as plain text and puts everything in a single column. This converter reads the vCard structure, including the formats used by older Android phones (vCard 2.1 with encoded accents) and iPhone custom labels, and gives every field its own column.
Address books are personal data. Most online converters ask you to upload the file to their server. Here, the file is read by your own browser and the result is created on your device: nothing is uploaded, stored or logged. The only extra downloads are open-source libraries for Excel files and ZIP archives, served from this same site. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and VCF ↔ CSV conversions keep working.
